One of those days....

Hey yall...
Today's just been one of those days, when nothing seems to go my way. It's like I really really wanna be happy, but life is throwing every curveball at me to ensure that I am NOT happy. :(

So; all my old friends abandoned me and left my school to go somewhere else this year, so like I have new friends, but it's just not the same. And today it was shockingly evident to me how alone I felt.
Then we had our back to school pep rally and I sat in the bleachers, alone. This was the first pep rally I haven't cheered (I quit cheerleading this year) at since ELEMENTARY school! :(
After all this "fun" stuff had happened, I come home hoping to just sulk in the privacy of my room and my stupid door doesn't open and it's stuck and broken and so now it isn't there anymore just a huge gap where it should be kind of like the happiness in my heart.
Ughhhh. I'm such a freaking complainer! But I'm not with my "sunshines" so what can I do?

I think I'm going to bust out the good book (Bible) and see if that may cheer me up......

Yahhh so I'm patiently waiting for the peep to get here.... we go way backkkk! :) hahaha but forreal! we do! Sometimes we get really ticked at each other for nothing but when it comes down to it, i got her back! :) hmmmmmm..... happy we've been trying to get something worked out so we can chill for like ever now, like forreal since I got back from Costa Rica.... and we finally got it worked out! woo! :))))

So school starts for me on Monday! HIGH SCHOOL! eeep, im kinda excited i guess..... I don't really feel ready to start school yet! I mean hello? I barely got a summer vacation! like 2 weeks cuz I was gone for 5 of the weeks! hahaha and btw NO it was NOT a vacation! Actually very far from it.... but anyway school.... so I go to a private school and the enrollment went WAY low this year cuz the economy and I only have 8 other people in my class! It's craziness!!!!!!! :) I'm so proud of myself! I read a 400 page book and did 5 essay questions on it in like 4 hours!!!! woo! :)

I CAN'T WAIT TILL WEDNESDAY!!!! Start piano lessons again!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy, I took them from like 2nd through 5th grade I think, but then I stopped and now I wanna start again! :)

Sometimes in life the perfect pitcher messes up and hits you hard, but you can't hold onto the pain, you have to run to first, then you get on with the game. People make mistakes, and I understand that.... How can you listen to something that's not being said? I don't care what happened yesterday, its all a part of the past. There are some parts of my past I so wish I could get back, and there are some parts of my past I just want to stuff under my bed and never see again. But whether I want the past or not, it isn't coming back. Move on from yesterday. Today's a new day. Everytime the sun comes up over the horizon is the time of new beginning... I'm offering words of forgiveness; Who actually knows what that whole deal was? Definately not me.... I think there's been enough pain already, and the truth hurts so don't say it... sometimes you have to lie to make things right, and that's okay with me..... I want to believe that yesterday was an amazing day, and that I went to bed having recieved an oppurtunity of a lifetime in talking to some very special people, and that the oppurtunity is over.... I will believe that and I will move on. So let's please just leave it at that. It wasn't you. It was the real deal. But that was yesterday, so today let's just pretend like that's truth and rant about how awesome it was to be in the midst of that oppurtunity. :) Can we just close our eyes and pretend, lets just hug and be best friends again like we did in kindergarten.?

Is there anyone out there actually reading this? I hope so, I mean even if there wasn't i guess it wouldn't be a total was cuz everything makes so much more sense when I write/type it out. :)

First of all: I have to wake up at like 5:45 am and I'm not sure I'm going to be able to survive (I woke up at 4:30 pm today)
Then: I go running with Joe Jonas for a fundraiser for Special Olympics :) I'm excited to be doing something for a good cause
After that: I come home, eat, shower
A little later: Me and the sisters get ready for the Jonas Brothers concert! (:
And even later: We're going to be at the Jonas Brothers concert!!!!!!!
After that awesome event: We go pick up some grub at whatever's still open
Finally: I go to sleep!!!!

I'm so excited; I get to start taking musical theatre classes and piano lessons once school starts! :) I know I know, I'm a nerd.... But musical theatre is my passion, I pray that one day I can be up on stage with hundreds of people watching, anticipating my next line, my next song. God enstilled in me a fire for Him and a passion for musical theatre. "The bigger your dream; the more likely it is that at least part of it will come true."

Carrie's summer update<333

Alrighttt everybody..... It's me your favorite Burleigh, CARRIE!!!! lol jk. (:

So as most of you know I was gone this whole summer up until last week in Costa Rica.... Let me tell you about it. Before I start if you have a problem with religious talk exit out of this right now, if not feel free to stay, but I'll be talking about my Jesus! First of all it was NOT a vacation; I went on a mission trip with an organization called Royal Servants. It was an amazing experience; I saw God work in so many random, unexpected, amazing ways! It was awesome..... I made a huge change in my life and I can't wait to tell all of you about it! It's crazy how much you can hear from God if you just open up your ears. (:

Crazy facts:
1. I've only eaten at 2 American restaurants since June 19th
2. I've only slept in my own bed 1 since June 17th
3. I lived out of a duffel bag for 5 weeks
4. I've only been with Kate&&Beth twice since June 17th (picking me up from airport, youth camp)
5.I haven't made a youtube video since like June 10th

Alrighttt. So right now I'm sitting at the kitchen table in my trailer at the beach in Port A...........
I really wanna see my sister's keeper! (its out now) Wow, I missed so much on my trip. hahahaha... like I didn't even know Demi Lovato was coming out with a new cd nonetheless that Beth bought it. . . craziness.... :)

-Saw "The Proposal" (the movie) .... so good! It's definately a must see! :) Oh my goodness! We (me and mom) saw it in this giganticly humungous movie theatre.! The room thing we were in seats 427 people! Woah. There were like 3 levels of what would be in the theatre back home! INSANITY!!!!!!
-Did some sight-seeing.... walked everywhere!!!! I've gotten so much excercise in since I've been here :)
-Went to Navy Pier.... fun stuff... went on a boat tour.... learned some interesting facts about Chicago.
-Wished I could go to Wrigley Field!!!! :( My daddy won't let me go without him. But I'm going someday.... It's one of my life goals. hah. <33
-Ate some delicous deep dish Chicago pizza! Oh my gracious! That stuff was so good, and geez was it filling. ! :)
-Missed my favorite sister ever!!!!!!! (that would be Sam) hahahahahaha just kidding guys. I love ALL of you! Melissa, I was kidding! Please don't get upset :D But forreal I missed all of you! Especially Daddy! :( and even Chad... and Paul..... geez I need my people! hahahaha just 5 weeks then I'll see you once again! :)
-Sat by some really strange guy on the plane trip here. hahahaha :) yahhh. interesting..... hahaha
-Went to millenium park! It was really neat; they have all these cool art structure things... like when you first walk up you see this massive silver thingggg. I have no idea what it was but it looked cool:) and then they have this whole little section of Chinese Art Sculptures! :) They were pretty cool. Oh yeahh. And they had this bean thing; I'm not much of an art person or anything but it was really really awesome and clever. I have no idea who made it but they were a genius! :) It was so cool. Whenever you get a chance, go to Chicago and check out the bean structure in Millenium Park. ! :)
-Rode in a taxi for the first time in my life. kind of disappointing though. :/ hahahaha I went in 2 different ones and the second one was much..... cleaner..... hahahaha :)
-Got Kate && Beth some spanking spectacular presents! Can't wait to watch the reactions from yall! hahahaha
-Ran across downtown Chicago in pouring down rain. No umbrella. hahahaha. It was fun. And wet. hahahaha. I'll have to tell you all about it another time. :)
-OH MY GOODNESS! I had almost forgotten! I got this AMAZING TOTALLY ONE OF A KIND CARRIE BURLEIGH dress! :) I love it love it love it to death.... I mean.... If a dress could die.... hahahaha. It's amazing. I was definately a showstopper when I wore it to the show; my daddy might have been upset at how many men gave me a look over. hahaha. oops. don't tell! :) lol. All the girls were jealous, all the boys wished I was theirs. Oops? Was that conceited? I mean it's a pretty amazing dress.... Well the whole outfit was. We'll make a video in it when I get back:)
-HAD SO MUCH FUN! :) (naturally) hahahaha

still to come on my amazing adventure:
-Go to "Ed Debevics"... It's a 50's style diner that everybody has said we just HAVE to go to. :) hahahaha should be fun! I wish Kate && Beth could be there with me. :( ... I'll take lots of pictures though!
-Drive like 2 1/2 hours to training camp :/ jealous? I wouldn't be!. hahaha :)
-Memorize some bible verses...... oops. supposed to do that already! hah at least I'll have something to do on the ride to camp. hahahaha
-Training camp!!! Ummm. little nervous about this one; sleeping in tents in the middle of a hay field.... not exactly my scene. hah. Oh well, I'll find a way to rock it. lol :) (It's like 10 days long)
-COSTA RICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so extremely excited! woah. It's gonna be amazing! :)

hey yall. its me. the one and only. amazing. CARRIE!

ohkayy. so today is day 2 of seperation... I'm in Chicago. Had so much fun today. Went shopping from 10 am till 5 pm!!!!! Oh yahhh! It was amazing! I miss yall bunches though! So I also say "Mary Poppins" the play.... It was really amazing. SHE FLIES!!!!!! :)

I only have like a day and a half left here. I love it here! I should like move here! hah. jk. beth you can calm down now. hahahaha ILYYYY! I got you two special girlies presents today! <333 mommy will bring them back with her sunday..... wish i could see you open them :( its cool though. you can record it and show me in 5 weeks.

So we're in a trance of shock and disappointment! You wanna know why? Even if you don't your gonna know since you're reading this! So there's these boys; mmhhmmm. and they just made this major WIPEOUT in their career and they think it's like some MILE MARKER!!!! Umm hello? Are you listening to the same thing I am? Hmmmm? Cuz what I'm hearing isn't as hot as you made it out to be. Maybe it was a communication problem or maybe, just maybe IT WASN'T a communication problem and it just wasn't very good. And yes, it could be "Much Better" so just "Don't Speak" about how great you wish it was; I'm disapointed in you misters.
